My washing machine fills very slowly, all inlet filters are clean, all other functions seem OK. If I try just hot or just cold I still get a low flow. When doing a diagnostic on it Hold wash temp down and press power I don’t get two short beeps but Rinse and Low (water level) light up. When I follow the rest of the instructions the fault displayed from the right is 11100100. I make this 39. No matter how often I try it the result is the same, no “two short beeps” after the first step. Does this negate the rest? I hope you can help.

It’s a time-out fault. The water level switch has not detected a rise in the water level in the time allowed. So……. Check that the air hose is attached to the level switch; is not kinked, trapped or holed. If the air hose is detached, you must drain the machine completely before reattaching it.
Water flow through the valves is directly related to the pressure on the household supply – if this has reduced, the fill rate will slow. Cold water valve is a “proportional” type and these do play up – flow can reduce with age.
Finally, check that the drain hose has not slipped down the drain pipe – this can cause syphoning – the water runs in and syphons out at the same time.
