ParticipantJust been given the above dishwasher as a present second hand, installed today and tried to do a run through with no washing inside. on starting the program a pump runs, for about 20/30secs with either the first or second lights permanently lit (depending on program selected) then the light will go out, there will be a few beeps then the the middle lights start flashing (2+3) a pump will again start up for another 20 seconds or so then nothing apart from the two flashing lights. Inside the dishwasher no water has been put in.
After reading some posts above other similar models i tilted the machine back but no water came out. if someone could tell me what error this code os for would be a great start
thanks in advance.December 28, 2006 at 5:23 pm #198919Penguin45

Code is no fill in the time allowed. Check the obvious things – water is actually turned on, fill hose not kinked or trapped. If Ok, you may be looking at a faulty water valve, although you would need a test meter to test to be sure.
Stay safe, power off for anything other than observation.

Thanks checked the water was on without telling the missus that may be the fault!!! will check the hose and see if i have a good flow first. Is it normall the valved is clogged/scaled or a sticky solenoid?
thanks again

Participantjust found my hot water valve to be blocked on the water supply, a quick rodding to flood my kitchen should sort it 🙂 ty.

most dishwashers work best plumbed to the cold inlet, you may not have enough pressure on your hot supply.

Participantcheers, just got it connected the valve was seized so the red knob was turning but not doing anything. managed to free the valve for now. Dishwasher is now running through a quick wash to see how it performs, seems very noisy especially when it first filled up, think (hope) it was getting rid of the air etc from the pipes?
