    Hi all very happy new year to all.

    i was given a small counter top fridge LG GR-051ssf
    i only use it to store soft drinks and larger and so on.
    ANYWAY recently it has started defrosting and not comming back on.
    but comes back to life when i reajust the stat.

    can anybody locate a stat and a shelf ( as that was missing )
    need prices please ( no rush on this please ) it is still working for now
    just needs a helping hand on the stat now and again.

    Is it out in the garage/outbuilding??
    If so it may be down to ambient tempreture.
    This happens when the outside temp falls bellow +10’c and plays havoc with the thermostat, so if this is the case, puttin a new stat in wouldn’t improve it.
    As for parts, would’t have a clue!

    its stored in a spare bedroom / office room
    worked fine during summer but come to winter and on number 2 on the stat it gets upto temp and cuts out. will only come back on by reajusting the stat.
