Hi. Searched everywhere for info ono this, but found nothing! My Creda cooker – model Europa S077E has the following error code – F8EO Cutting the power and switching back cures it for a while, but it soon reappears. Any advice appreciated!

    New one on me pbar.

One of the Indesit/Hotpoint guys may know what it is but if it’s resetting I’d have a guess at it tripping an overheat device.

Re: Creda Europa S077E Error/Fault Code

    Hi, thanks for your reply.
It’s not that I don’t think, as the error message (and beeping) comes on when the cooker is idle. Powering off and on again cures it (and allows the cooker to be used) for a while, but it reappears again.
I’ve been on to Indesit and after a half hour wait almost, the guy said it’s most likely the cooling fan. When I told him this is working (as I can hear and feel it) he said it must be the circuit boards then that want changing.
This must be a staple answer, talking to other people as well as the place where I bought it from say the same thing.
There’s little point in having differing error codes, if they’re going to just say – ‘oh, all the circuit boards need changing’ – every time!
I’ll see how it goes and most likely change it for a bog standard non digital model like I used to have, those things run for years.
