ParticipantThe water line is connected. Cycles can be selected. When turned on and a cycle selected, door is closed and then a motor sound can be heard. The minute counter counts down but nothing ever happens. No turning of the sprayers. No water. What could be the problem?
Please help,
Nathan

Model number not recognised.
If all that happens is that the drain pump runs, the base may be flooded and the flood protection system may be activated. See if you can drain it and see what happens. If it does it again, there is a leak.
Power off if working on the appliance.

Thanks for the reply Penguin!
I haven’t actually used the dishwasher before. I bought it recently used. The owner said it sat for a year and I had him set it up and run a cycle…but I wasn’t there so I’m not sure it was working correctly.
Water came out of it while I was moving it to the new flat.
As far as the Typ number it is hard to read because it is written close to the edge of the metal.
If it helps here are more things written on it:
Bosch Logixx auto option (on front)
Maxx freedom perform (on top)
Typ S9V11B
E Nr. SGS69A0GB/13Is there something more I should check to see if it has drained properly?

Sounds like it needs some serious investigating? Several things need to be checked including the water pressure switch system, float safety switch, main motor seized (maybe?) water damage internally?
Best get a bit of expert help on this, try the link below for an engineer. 😉

ParticipantRe: Bosch Logixx S9V11B – yes it seems to be flooded
An electrician was out at the flat today and he checked the solenoid in the back. The solenoid is not getting any power to let water into the dishwasher.
Unscrewing the cover for (I think) the salt canister, it is full to the top with water. How do I get the water to drain if it is full and not draining. How do I untrip the flood protection?

Unplug it from the mains, then gently tip it backwards about 45 degrees to see if any water flows out of the baseplate?

None flowed out. I think we even had it completely on its side when we were moving.
