I’ve got a customer who has been the proud owner of a Creda 17085 w/machine for a little over 7 years. In that time it has had 2 new motors, 2 new armature/brushes, 2 further sets of brushes, drum bearings, one heater, one pump, 2 door handles and a door boot. Total cost over that time = £810.21 😯

For the last 2 years I have told her to chuck it and buy a Bosch and each time she prefers the convenience of me fixing it. Today she tells me the motor is not turning again so I quoted the worst case scenario over the phone of some £150 to fix it. January sales….buy a new Bosch why don’t ya???
I gave her a while to ‘think about it’ and phone me back if she really wants to go ahead. She rang and said hubby wants it fixed once more. 🙁

So, if it is a new motor and a £150 repair that’s nearly a grand spent on a bloody Creda in seven (ish) years……SWEET CHEESES LADY! :rolls:

What’s your record service history experience I wonder?

15 calls, all genuine, all different, to one Philco washer in 12 months with a total repair cost in excess of £1000 on a £250 washer. Few years ago now but I’ll never forget that one.

Unshockingly it was on a Currys policy. 😉
