my hotpoint wd440 washer dryer is making a loud brrrring noise when it hits the rise and spin part of the program. I think this is where it is pumping out.

Is it easy to check if there is anything stuck in the pump? any pointers?

    cheers

Pump in rear left corner – clip and slide fitting. You’ll need Torx bits to get it apart to remove foreign bodies. Easiest access through panel at rear.

    Power off, of course.

Why invest in Torx bits when a small electrical screwdriver does the job.
