my machines water pump wasnt working so i successfully disassembled everything necessary in order to unclog it near the filter and i beleive i have put everything back exactly as it should be. so i go to start the machine and no lights…nothing. no power. i double checked everything making sure no wires have been pulled out, nothing. i open the console and cant smell anything weird, it cant be any different to a computer MB smell when something goes poof right? the main switch wasnt tripped either on the house. so i got nothing. i do have a 6 person family tho and a weeks worth of washing to do. what have i done? maybe i knocked something , just thought i would pass this by some experts. the only electrical thing i touched was the motor for the pump. i took off the wires whilst poking around assessing things and i had difficulty putting the plastic cover back on. everything looked as it should be tho.

    Model number would have helped……..

If we assume that that this a Phase 5 or later appliance, if the pump is out of circuit, it will not power up. Check continuity through pump (33 ohms), check wiring for chaffing, breaks etc.
