    good afternoon,
    I have the above tumble dryer that seems to work apart from heatng up.
    Are there any instructions on checking and changing the element anywhere?

    Hi many thanks for your prompt reply, that gives me a good place to start, but as always ( always is where I’m concerned ) theres another question, how do I find which wires go to the heater, can i test it from just removing the top?or is it a sides off job. Also is there a level of resistance it should read.

    Remove the mains plug and then the small back panel only, the heater and stats will be revealed, check the left hand stat, the one with a green spot on it, it will more than likely be OC, if so it is faulty.

    Your machine is actually a Hotpoint so the 1701583 stat kit will suffice.
