    Hi, Q1435 washer will only work on quickwash. Any other cycle, it stops partway through with error code H1 (I think its H1 from memory but the H is definitely right).
    Samsung did not have much of a clue about this error code?
    The clue is that the water is not heating up, even on the quickwash which completes it’s cycle. The main controller pcb was replaced 12 months ago.
    The washer is out of warranty so advice as to the possible fix would be much appreciated.

    Hi

    HE or HE1 is a temperature or heater fault. So if water not heating a new heater is required.

    Wow, thanks Mike for such a rapid reply. As you said, the error probably is HE or HE1 rather than H1. It’s been a while since I tested the full cycle. Any idea why the error does not occur with a ‘quick wash’? I’ll try a new heater. What is the best source for these Samsung spares? I am an electronics engineer so am capable of fitting.

    No heat on Quick wash – partly why it’s quick.

    Given the price of Samsung spares, test first rather than throwing parts at it.
