KeymasterRe: Good Housekeeping
Funnily enough Greg I have been discussing this with Dave and Martin the past day or so.
Good Houskeeping is only the tip of the iceberg.
Over the past few months I’ve seen many forums across the glode mentioning UKW and recommending it as THE source of information on a wide range of appliances not just for the UK but also for Europe. We’ve even had several mentions for the Australiasias as well, thanks to the work of Chris and Bigsmokepiker etc.
In short, you guys have made yourselves the No1 source of advice to a large extent.
In addition to that I’ve also been busy in the background with what is known as “social marketing” and John has also been busy helping on that front. We’ve also spent a considerable amount of time, energy and cash on promoting repairs@ in various ways to try to feed something back.
The results are there to be seen if you go looking.
As I posted to the moderators forum the other night, since moving onto the new server we are now being ranked almost constantly in the top 100,000 websites in the world. Better still the past week we have averaged being ranked at 39,951 which is above many manufacturers and most other sites on related subjects, including one that I know spends tens of thousands of pounds a month on promotion.
Now, I have to ask, why are some people not on repairs@ yet? 😉
Oh and I might just be up to a few things for 2007 to capitalise on this as well for the benefit of the indies.

Praise indeed.
And rightly earned.
I don’t think any industry could be better served.
