The timer control knob on my Homark 2-600101 is broken.
When I say the ‘knob’ is broken, it is in fact the control mechanism itself that appears to be the problem. The actual knob that turns it is fine. It has been stiff recently – you can either set it for a certain time or put it on indefinitely.
Today when I tried to put it on constant, it just wouldn’t engage – it just sort of popped and never worked again. No matter whether I try to put it on a timed setting or constant it just does not work at all – just turns round and round. This is frustrating as it means the oven doesn’t work, although every other part is fine – I just can’t turn it ‘on’.
I assume a new timer control is needed. Is this user-repairable, or should I be looking at nice shiny new ovens? 😥

Yes, it will be the timer unit itself I’m afraid. 🙁
The timer is still shown as being available but there’s absolutely no documentation on the cooker. The timer will cost you about £33 plus VAT and carriage and should only take two or three days to get to you.

I don’t have the parts info here at home but I should be able to find it again in the morning for you. I’ll stick the part up in the shop but there won’t be a picture I wouldn’t think.
