I have a Europa Solar Plus oven Model 48145 Serial No. 891C006022. Yesterday the oven light bulb blew and tripped the circuit breaker on the house consumer unit. ( That is normal when any bulb in the house blows). Having reset the breaker the oven works except that the fan stays on all the time and , having replaced the bulb, this also stays on all the time. A hole has been burned into the metal screw threads of the bulb so it sounds a bit serious. Any help and/or wiring diagram would be appreciated as my son in law is an electronics engineer so hopefully can carry out repairs.l

A new lampholder (Part No 6100849) available by emailing these details to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk 😉

Thanks Martin but will a new lamp holder also solve the problem of the fan running continuously?

Which fan? I guess you mean the oven fan?

Probably shares a common return feed if that’s the case and the faulty lampholder making the circuit?…just a guess….dunno?

Needs a bit of ‘TLC’ and with a good testmeter that’s for sure!

Always isolate the power before touching anything, if you ain’t sure, click on the link below for an engineer to take a shufty. 😉

OH – thanks Martin. I will get son in law to bring his meter round. Your sensible warning about isolating everything is noted.
