Im planning on refurbishing our kitchen in the 1960’s style and the cooker ive aquired is in perfect working order. Its a New world without any specific model no , but has a 6 sided brass plate under the hob on the back frame with the nos on the top half stamped in
    71 /3
    and below this 4/56
My guess its from the 1950.s 60’s
Its in cream vitreous enamel about 4ft long with the 4 burner hob on the right with the oven base level with the hob. Overall height 4 ft. its on 4 legs with a large tray under the hob and oven for pots and pans. In use till dec 2006 in the same house since installation.
The plate rack is missing over the hob and id like to find a picture of this cooker so I can make a replica of the plate rack
Made by Radiation ltd. in their factory in Birmingham.
Happy to post a picture in due course.
Where can I find the Brochures of the New World products of this period? 50 yrs ago!! Possibe prices etc.
