    I’ve just stumbled across this website and what a find it is – so I’m after some advise please!…..

    My washer dryer is no more than 4yrs old and had genreally been very good until it seemed to stop tumble drying over Christmas. Although the drum still rotates, there just does not seem to be any heat. I think the same is happening on a wash because some towels I did at 60 degrees were cold when I took them out and things don’t smell as clean as they do normally.

    My dad is pretty handy so is there something he should look for before calling out an engineer? Its been suggested that it could be the element? If so, are these expensive and easy to fit? I do not have insurance on the machine so I am trying to work out if repairing it is cost effective option or if I should just go and buy a new one. Please help!
