ParticipantDear All
First post so please be gentle.
My washing machine recently showed the error “UE”, which I believe relates to an unbalanced load. I am not suprised as I was washing pillows at the time. Now it won’t seem to spin any clothing, although if I run a spin cycle with the no clothes it seems to spin fine.
If I add clothes and run a spin cycle for say 10 mins, it will just spin very slowly back and forward but the timer will not get below 8 mins.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi – First point, this machine is guaranteed for 2 years covering parts and labour. If still in guarantee I suggest you contact Samsung for a free service call. I its out of guarantee you probably have a fault with the electronic control module.

Thanks for that, it would be a real bonus as we have had it about 18 mths. Probably a stupid question but we bought it at Comet so would the two year guarantee still apply or would it only be the normal 1yr and have you any idea what the Samsung contact details are?
Many thanks for all your help and your prompt reply. I must add that I am very impressed with this forum compared to some of the others that I have used.

Washman
I have checked the filters and both were completely clean. It is also emptying the water with no problem at all and there is no other fault code.
Thanks

Have you tried unplugging machine from wall socket. This may clear any logged fault.
p.s i assume you are trying a normal load of clothes since your pillows incident. It maybe a genuine ‘Uneven Load’ with the clothes load you are now trying???????

I would like to thank Washman, timdowning & Dales-Electronic for replying to my problem. It all appears to be working fine now. Not sure what I did but as Tim said it seems it may well have just been a legitimate “Uneven Load”.
Thanks for your time

Hi All
Sorry for the late reply
The problem would most likely have been an unbalanced error – The load in the drum is unbalanced
