    The programmer on my Miele W709 has become tempremental and i was wondering if a hoover logic programmer IE crouzet 889 series would be a straight swap. Some one on this forum did mention this ages ago but did not say exactly which one. Here’s hoping as the machine is now at an age where it is not worth spending to much on it.

    It would be far too simple………..

    The Crouzet 889 is a design family. The rest of the 889 number specifies the actual set-up of the timer and there are lots of variants, so like for like is the only way.

    I take it that you have lost motor action?

    Some times there appears to be a dead spot in the wash part of the program but not always.When this happens turning the program selector around a few times normaly starts it again.
