    Hi

Was doing some washing (4th lot) when after a couple of minutes the program stopped. After switching to stop and draining water via filter I tried to start a new program. The program time comes up on the lcd panel (the fullstop flashing) when I click on start the fullstop stops flashing but thats all that happens (i think there is a quick blink of the lcd lights that are on that happened just before the door locks) the door does not lock.

I guessing this may be the door interlock that needs changing but i’m guessing. Anyone able to help.

    Thanks

Door lock or module. Door lock is cheap, module very expensive, so go for the lock!

P/no 530001500 – an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you wish to order.

    Power off if investigating.

    Thanks for your reply.

Turns out it is the module, burn marks on it. Remember now burning smell about a week ago so guess it carried on working for a why after. One of the pins has now broken loose from module and stuck in plug.

Anyone interested in machine for spare parts let me know and you can arrange to pick up but guessing it will be of no good to anyone but the bin men

Unlucky, all too common a problem. These lower end machines are all manufactured to price and all that that implies.

Good luck with a replacement – budget for at least £300 if you want something which will last.
