    Hi guys.

    Can anybody suggest a frost free upright freezer that will work happily in my garage where the temprature never drops below 5c even on very cold days.

    I`m on my second Hotpoint FZA54 which runs continuously at -40,the first one flucuated between -30 and +10, Indesit are coming tomorrow and will issue another uplift number as its under 3 months old.

    I`ve got a Dawoo frost free fridge/freezer which works fine in the same place so its got to be the product and not the enviroment that is wrong 😕 .

    The Beko TZDA627F is listed as a unit suitable for outbuildings……..or does anybody no better.

    BEKO tend to be the only company that say their units will work outside.

    Have you thought about a cheap commercial? Try Valera on 0845 270 4321 or Interlevin on 01332 850090. I know a lot of commercial customers of ours keep units in sheds/garages/outbuildings etc, but I guess it’s down to the price.

    Hi Guys
    A Bosch KGV or KGU will work in low ambient conditions.
    The KGV has a switch on the stat housing that can be selected to run the lamp at half power to raise cavity temp in the fridge, the KGU brings on the lamp automatically as has a NTC on the control module.
