We have had the above for about 3½ years and have had no problems with it – up until now. It won’t stay on a programme, it takes the washing tablets and fills with water, but won’t then carry on with the programme – it sounds as if water is then being sent to the drain pipe rather than the actual machine and then the dial clicks around eight times and then the light flashes twice and this happens constantly until I turn the machine off.
I spoke to someone from the yellow pages and he seems to think it’s something to do with the board which probably will need replacing – is this right? Can you explain what you think seems to be the problem?

The problem is its an Indesit. 😥
2 flashes signify a jammed motor or motor/board related fault. Only an examination of the machine would reveal the exact cause, the error codes (flashes) are only a guide to the ‘possible’ fault. It could just be a bad connection.
