    Model AWG 331 Service No 8537 331 15010
    99 049 005394.

First one of these I have seen, complaint of no spin, appears to have an induction motor.

Set to spin, pump runs, motor appears to run normally anti clockwise then suddenly slows and becomes noisy. Motor & drum bearings perfect.

Tried it on a wash setting, fills, starts to tumble, appears slightly fast but this is something you often see on induction motors that have no load on them, once again the loud noise and sluggish motor action come in, it doesn’t appear to reverse tumble, only going anti clockwise.

    Any pointers ?

    TIA.

As it’s a Servis in disguise, I would go for the module as they fail regularly.

If you get the 546 number from the heatsink and use that as the part number, it will be a lot cheaper than the Whirlpool version 😉

yes most likely the module, make sure the belt is very tight.emw is best for pcb, that way if its not that you will only be charged the handling fee.

When I phoned and told her it was a Servis, she instantly decided to throw it out. Cannot fault her logic. 🙂
