Not been to see this yet but customer getting F11 fault code which I don`t think I`ve come across before :?.
F11 is listed as communication error . Does anyone have any more details as to what this normally entails?. Might it be a simple task of tightening up a connector/wiring on module or is the module itself more likely at fault?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hi Byran,

One to look for is the small lead between the timer & user board – we have a lot of success just removing, turning it around and re connecting (the plugs are the same both ends)

Dont know why, maybe its just a bad connection, but it seems to work!

Thanks Ali-p , that was the advice I was looking for but unfortunately the customer called yesterday to tell me that they`re buying a new machine as I couldn`t really tell them if it was going to be a major or minor repair/expense.

I`ll lock that away for future reference though , Whirlpool F11 – check small lead between timer and user board.
