Hi
Yes correct model number SGS69L02GB/22 thanks. 😉
If you remove the lower metal panel to gain access to the clear tube that goes from the metering unit to the sump, remove, clean and re-assemble.
You can also remove the l/h panel and look if the water matrix and the metering unit is gunged up.Un plug appliance before attempting any of the above :plug:

🙁 Thanks Gegsy,
Took of L/H side panel, the water matrix looked a bit gunged up in the top left hand corner, but the water is pumping out of the dishwasher if i put some in the sump.
Which is the lower metal panel you were talking about? and what does the metering unit do? sorry to be dumb.
Thanks

Hi
Adjacent to the water matrix is the metering unit or its correct term is level sensor with safety function which basically regulates the amount of water entering the appliance and also has an antiflood mechanism built into it, hence the question was it gunged up?
Below the door is a metal plate attached to the plastic base it has 2 torx20 screws, behind that you will see that clear ribbed tube.Greg

hi Greg,
Checked water matrix, metering unit and tube all clear. water pumps out of sump if you fill it. but when you put it on programme it does not fill.
There are 2 symbols on display, one looks like an S with arrows on and the other looks like a symbol for sun * . Do these mean anything ?
Any other ideas ?

Hi
You could check that the fill valve is still intact. Should read around 2-4k ohms. Done with appliance un-plugged I must add.
The symbols you mention are indicating that the rinse aid (sun symbol) and the salt (S) are empty or low but would not cause the fault you have. Please use the engineer link if you need to.
