ParticipantSelect spin + start. Starts with 11 mins to go and counts down with slow spin to 6. Then jumps to 1 missing fast spin.
Sounds like the module to me. any one else got any inspiration on this before I quote for a module.

Hi
Brushes worth a check and/or dry joint/s on pcb.
To check motor for correct readings these are typical readings-On motor itself between –
Pins 1-3.. 0.8 – 1.2 ohms
Pins 2-3..0.8 – 2 ohms
Pins 4-5..1.8 – 10 ohms
Pins 6-7..14 – 240 ohms

Thanks for the reply Greg. I was called in for a no spin fault due to duff carbons which I have replaced. The owner has lived with this for a while. Motor seems ok on wash and spin start.

Hi Mike
It does sound like a module fault.
Do you know if its a GB/01 or GB/08 ?Greg

Martin posted a very similar fault on a very similar machine last week
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ic&t=20934We have a Siemens WXL147AGB/18 (again very similar) at home and don`t know if this is significant but my wife reliably informs me that a seperate spin cycle counts down from 6 mins to zero.
Does sound more and more like the module but it`s an expensive gamble to get wrong.

I had this problem a couple of weeks back and it was a duff commutator.

Checked board for dry joints and quoted for new module. m/c scrapped, so I have a motor and module with a 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance of a fault. Thanks for your comments,

ParticipantRe: Bosch WF02865GB. Spin probs.
i thought they were supposed to do that?
as far as i was aware (and if you read the instruction manual) when you put the machine on a spin only program, it will default to a gentle spin.. its not a fault, its a feature, itll only actually do a full spin after a full program, which is a bugger to test.
i rang bosch tech about that issue, and thats the answer i got
if it aint doin fast spin after a full cycle, its either out of balance, or the pcb is faulty
hope this helps

Thanks for your input Helo. I ran a full load on a full wash cycle and it still failed. Going to be hard to get the module back in as I took it out with a pair of snips. I think we’ve passed the point of no return.
