    Hi there,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I woke this morning to find that my Indesit D61 had been on all night and just continually moving on to the next cycle. I tested this out by selecting a rinse, and sure enough, once complete it moved directly onto an intense wash, which is the next on the dial. I am assuming I need an new selector/controller, but hoped someone could shed some more light on the matter just in case.

    Many thanks, Barry.

    Hi Barry,

Is it draining the water out properly? If you turn the knob manually does it drain?

Sometimes If it cannot empty the water out then it will give you all sorts of problems.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

Got in from work to find that it is not draining the water at all. Sounds like this could be the problem. Any clues about what I can do from here? How can I drain the water manually?

    Thanks for any advice!

Well what you do is take the drain pipe out from the sink(where it connects to the waste trap)If you have this kind of plubing though.

Put that in a bucket and then drain the water out to see if it drains.Sometimes it is just blocked at that point so worth checking and see how it goes.

    Regards
