    been out to this today the motor has a raised segment on the comutater is there a cheaper motor, the cheapest i can find is 200 and that is to me do they do a separete comutator i see you can get a tacho but can’t find a comutator this is a good machine would be a sham to scrap over a motor

    Change motor entirely… is very hard to find rotor separately because most of motor fault come from rotor (earth leakage, short-circuits between paddles).

    thanks baron but i am trying to do this on the cheap as it is for a family friend who ain’t got a lot of cash but thanks anyway

    try second one… but be sure that it’s same code (model)… I do not believe is expensive since in Romania is about 30 Euro… (and are coming also from UK, Germany or Holland)…
