    Could you give me an idea of what might be wrong before I call an engineer ?

    Our Bosch Dishwasher stopped filling and washing, and having read the posts on the forum have understood that this could be caused by a faulty inlet valve, a stuck water level indicator valve or a blocked pump.

    I have given the pump a good clean and the machine started up however after a couple of washes it gave up again.

    In an attempt to locate the water level indicator and find any futher blockage in the drainage system I discovered that tipping the machine on it’s back clears the problem, the machine runs for a couple of washes but then gives up again !

    Obviously can’t keep tipping it up…any pointers gratefully received.

    hmm, u probably go a leak somewhere… does water come from the base when u tip it up?

    Hi
    Un-plug appliance first before you attempt any repair :plug:
    It sounds like you do have water in the base from a leak.Please don’t tip the machine back as you risk water enering components, you will be far better removing the r/h panel and carefully removing any water found in the base.


    Then you will need to look for the leak. If it is the fill valve, then this will leak without any power to machine, as long as the water is turned on to appliance; watch it intently for a few minutes.

    Thanks for the response…I’ve not spotted any leakage from the machine at any time, I’ll have a go at removing the panel and see if I can locate a leak.
