Power on – appropriate Led’s are lit for the particular wash. Push start -no go. Have taken out and checked control board and rear of selector panel. No obvious burnt components or smell. Have checked out of balance micro switch – ok. Have tried diagnostic code check after using Penguins method. No LED’s are lit up. Opened inspection cover at bottom r/h side of front panel, no obvious loose connections. Thanks Mick

Lid switch? It’s a reed switch under the top deck, operated by a magnet moulded into the lid itself.

I have the same problem. Here is what I posted in another thread.
I have the same machine and I can’t get the diagnostics instructions on this forum to work either.
The machine was making funny noises during the wash a couple of days ago. Now when I turn it on, all the usual lights come on for the “Normal” cycle, but when I press “Start” (the start button still goes “beep”), nothing happens. The machine doesn’t fill with water.
The other unusual thing is that when I turn the machine on, apart from all the usual lights coming on, the “Delicate” wash cycle light is faintly lit also.
All the other buttons seem to beep and light up when I press them, no problem there. Just can’t get it to start!
