Been to a Bosch DW SGS4468GB/35 with a fault I’ve never come accross.
Shows 7 on led window & 35 Quick wash is flashing.
Problem started after the customer cleaned the facia and switches with a steam cleaner.
I took the control module out and opened it up and gave it a clean and all seems ok but if I turn it off and on it goes back to fault.
If I leave it off for 10 seconds then turn it on it works OK.
    Whats goin on?
Have I fixed it or is the module goosed?

    Over to you guys.

    Re: Bosch DW Odd Fault

    Hi
I should imagine that if it was ok before they attacked it with a steam cleaner it would be the module, and I have never heard of a fault code showing itself in that way. The number 7 don’t really add up as a fault code either according to my information, to arrive at this fault code you’d have to have a filling fault, a heater fault and a turbidity sensor fault all combined, not only is this very unlikely but it should only show in the service test programme.
I’d hedge my bets on a board, part number 489607 and is about £73.00 plus the VAT.
