A couple of weeks I had error code F05 appear on my machine. My partner had a look at the back to see if it had perhaps clogged and it worked fine after that until last night when error code f11 appeared at end of a wash and today when f05 reappeared.

Any ideas? Washer dryer is no long under warranty 🙁

    Edit: title

Are you sure you got the right model no?
WD860 is a Hotpoint Washer Dryer.I think it is Hotpoint.

Can you double check it please?

F05 on a Hotpoint means problem with the pressure switch that senses the water in the drum.
Drain pump may still be blocked or the pressure switch is not getting the air so the pipes may be blocked.

But please switch the appliance off before investigating.
If unsue then check the Repairs Section to see a local engineer in your area.

What about f11? IS it related at all?

F11 is also pump related, it means it is not emptying correctly. More blockages, something right inside the pump stopping it, outlet hose blocked under the sink, intermittant pump failure etc.

Don’t forget, you do have a full five year parts gaurantee on this machine. In this case it would not be economic to use it, labour charge is just under £90.00, just something to bear in mind for future faults at least until such time as the machine is over five years old.

    Jim.
