ParticipantI have an AEG Oko Lavamat Sensortronic which will not complete the full cycle. It gets as far as the end of the wash cycle but will not pump out and start the rinse cycle, the timer just skips all the way down to 1 and then it finished the whole program. However, I can switch the dial to pump out and it will empty the drum, then if i switch to rinse it doesn’t do anything but if i switch to extra rinse it will complete a full rinse cycle. Then I can switch to spin and it will work a full spin cycle. From the above i don’t think there is a problem with the pump or motor and suspect it could be a control panel problem, however, reading some advice on this site points out that this fault could be a another problem as control timers don’t often go wrong. If anyone has any ideas of what else could be wrong or give any advice on how to attempt to fix the problem it would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

This is a Zanussi in a posh frock. The computer board should detect component failure and put up a code in the display, or set off a pattern of LEDs. Logic problems with the computer will probably not bring up a code. This a technically very complex machine – in all honesty, pro help is your best bet. Use the link below to find an enhineer in your area.
