Creda W200FW, stops!

    Went to this m/c t’other day customer complianed it stopped mid cycle, of course it was ok with me.Went back today [she had put it on a wash for me]door lock & end lites both lit but m/c stopped full.Checked pump heater etc all ok. Upon restarting m/c started to wash & heat again then suddenly the motor surged as though trying to spin this then caused the end lite to come on & the run lite to go off [methinks oob switch kicking in]
    I checked the motor which was getting a tad warm , it checked thro’ ok but i’m concerned about it been warm/hot, it’s a cset type motor could this be the cause. I tried another pcb but no difference, anybody had the same prob?

    It can happen when “stator” has some earth leakage or SCC between winding wires… therefore it getting warm quickly…

    Thought so ,had this on old Hoover Logics but that was yonks ago.

    Hi Jim ,checked magnet it seems to be riveted on the end of the armature, seems well fixed.
