    Hi

i have a whirlpool washing machine that has gone belly up.

The lights keep flashing to clean pump, done that, nothing there, tried to finish the load and got the same again. Now this has happened before and there were socks stuck behind the drum somewhere. When the man came out to fix it he managed within a few minutes to sort it out.

My question is can I do this myself and if so where do I need to look?

Its just that the machine has a load of soaken wet washing in it that hasnt been washed properly and we cant have anyone out to look at it before Tuesday 👿

I have 7 children and one of them has a tummy bug at the minute so I really really need my washer sorted.

Any help you can give is much appreciated.

The only thing I can see on the machine that may be a model number is AWO3761/5/S

    Lou xx

You probably have one of your kids socks stuck in the sump hose. Power off, and tilt the machine back to 45 degrees. Put a basin underneath. The fat hose that connects to the tub is the one you want to remove. Take out any obvious blockages, then feel around inside the tub for anymore.

PS the ping pong ball is meant to be there…
