    Got a AEG washing machine flashing c7 checked error code which says heater or leaking sol valve checked all the obvious to no avail flashes c7 even with door open and as soon as you switch on am thinking along the lines of power board anyone had this problem

    Dave, you may have rectified the fault without realising. eg perhaps a bad connection to the heater. Unless you reset the control it will still show the error code,

    Quote from the ‘known error code’ page..

    “Some of these faults are locked in and will return even if machine is disconnected, the only way to clear them is to run the test programme. Hold in Pre wash and soak button while turning rotary knob to gentle spin”

    Thanks Bob will try that thing is driving us mad
    didn,t realise that it needed reset so we may have cured the prob already bloomin electronic machine there a nightmare withiut the relevant info found the error codes but not the reset your a star mate thanks
