    Hi All – new user here.

    I am in urgent need of a used JK6077 timer for my Hotpoint TL71S.

    I’ve not bothered posting the serial no. as the old timer is stamped “JK6077” so I know it’s what I’m after.

    Appliance is 6 years old, so it’s probably not worth paying £60 for a new one.

    Any help much appreciated as the wife is not amused at present 😡 . Cheers.

    Part number is actually a 1701221 😉 the sort of part that is rarely available as a used item.

    You may get lucky but I doubt your wife will wait that long. 🙂
    No reason why that dryer should not last another five years or more if it has the grey plastic front duct. If the filter slots into a galvanised metal duct at the front then that type has front bearing & sealing problems and investing in a new timer may not be wise. There was a major modification including a complete new drum, duct, stats, seals fan etc,etc, to cure this fault.
