Integrated w/dryer with reported fault of clothes coming out hot and wet on dryer. As expected no flow of cold water from condenser valve but unfortunately I`m not getting any power to the valve.

Is the condenser valve supplied via one of the modules and is this the likely fault ❓ . I didn`t trace the wires from the valve all the way back but there wasn`t any obvious signs of damaged/rubbing wiring.
    Everything else works fine.

    Any help much appreciated.

Right complex Smeg machine that one. 3 modules, one of which, the smaller of the 2 in the box at the lower front of the machine, controls the drier. One thing to point out is that the condenser valve is not energised immediatly, as with many machines these days it comes on at some point but not nessesarily at the start of the programme. I think this one may even do a minutes spin shortly after the start of the dry cycle and should energise the valve after that. ALso, you may not get a feed if the valve coil is open circuit so it is worthwhile slaving on any good valve coil to see if you get a feed then. I have got a service manual for that range but its not so helpful.

Thanks for the reply , I had the dryer running for at least 5 minutes and the valve coil was reading 4.2k ohms from memory.

Think I`ll need to go back and have a look at that module in the front you mentioned and check wiring for continuity.

    Cheers
