    Hi

    Can anyone help with my poorly indesit WD10 washer/dryer?

    The problem is it it will not wash or dry. I select the program – press power -the light flash to how it accepted the program – I hear the door lock engage. The is just sits there – nothing happens. No water load (Wash) no spin etc.

    I’ve tried the a spin program – same as above.
    I’ve tried a drain – same as above.

    I’ve check the filer – was 20p coin in there.

    Any Ideas?

    yer mootors probably duff

    common fault on indesi machines that.. door locks.. nothing

    check brushes/armature/coil… but please, unplug before checking

    Thanks for the reply. Sort of had guess might be the motor.

    Do I need to take the motor off to get at these parts you describe? Or can in be checked in place?


    Also any idea on the cost to replace/repair. Not looking to the spot on price – am I looks to spend les than £100 or more etc.

    id ask penguin about the price of the motor.. i wouldnt have thought they’d be over £100, u have to take the motor off to check the brushes
    be carefull, lots of sharp edges!!, oh, and power off as always
