Hoover WDM1300 – No heat when drying

I have a Hoover Six WDM1300 washer dryer. The tumble dryer stops working annually – no heat input is supplied to the tumble dryer during drying. The last couple of times I have called out an engineer who informed me that the issue is that the condenser blocks up with fluff and causes the tumble dryer to overheat tripping the stat.

This has now happened again – I have removed the fluff from the condenser. However I am unsure of the location of the stat, can someone advise me where the stat is that I need to reset, do I need to remove the machine top to access this?
