The motor may be stuck and it could be making that noise.

Switch off the appliance before investigating

    how late is it?

on later models, theyve got the relay built into the door lock, and it would certainly do that if the lock activation pin was missing… im sure though that that particular variant is so new it should be under first year

    next question?

is it the pump u can hear?

cos if theres nothing from the motor at all, as sure as eggs are eggs ittl be the timer if thats the case

omg they really are poor arent they?

Thanks guys, seemed like the motor was stuck after all.
These things are crap, so much trouble with it, although it is used quite alot there has always been some trouble with it.
    Thanks

I have the exact same problem as this. It is making a noise and the drum is not rotating. I think I overloaded the dryer, as for the first time ever I put two loads of washing in at once and now it doesn’t work.

Could you tell me whether you were able to fix it and how? Or anyone else any advice.

    Many thanks.
