I have an APM 8512/01 it stopped during a wash cycle(Quickwash) after about 10 minutes, the machine wouldn’t spin and drain the water. After 30 minutes of waiting I was able to open the door and take out the soggy clothes and then drain the machine of the excess water.
The machine now doesnt work at all, when you choose a programme you hear it click but the machine does not fill up with water now.
Any advise is much appreciated. thanks

    Hi Pud,

It’s an Antonio Merloni produced machine.

It sounds like you have either a door lock or module failure, the latter being more likely and also more costly. 😕

It’s worth noting that the module in this machine isn’t the same as the module in the normal APM8512. There should be a sticker along the front of the machine near the bottom (behind the kickboard) with a list of a few part numbers on it. It’s probably 546021400 (might be listed as 546021401) but worth checking before purchasing should you decide that it requires a new one.
