    Hi,
1ST time on this forum – so thanks for any advice in advance.

I had an Electrolux EOB2610W built in electric oven (have a gas hob on the top that still works) which started to smoke 3 days before Christmas and wouldn’t work after that.
A friend of mine offered me her old one – an Indesit (not sure what type) – but it had the gas hob attached. My regular handyman (Registered in everything he should be) said it would be easier and cheaper to buy another built in cooker rather than having to cut the worktop etc.

I have saved up enough for a very cheap oven.

I have looked for hours on the internet and have found a Zanussi ZOB160 for £162 delivered, and Electrolux EOB2700 for £165 delivered.

In anyone’s opinions are either of these worth buying?

EOB2700 is basically the update of your current oven. ZOB160 is similar. Both machines are convection heating, so really more of what you’re already used to.

Zanussi and Electrolux are the same company, BTW, so these two were probably made in the same factory!

They are pretty much the same oven (different badge that’s all) GO FOR IT GAL, no worries, happy cooking! 🙂

What great replies – thanks very much – in the end have ordered the Electrolux EOB2700 – got it for £148.99 delivered, local company, cheapest on the net.

    😀
