    Can anyone help? Don’t laugh but I have disconected the hot and cold feeds from the above machine, I can’t remember how they go back, there are no markings on the machine! What damage will it do if i connect them the wrong way round?

    You’ll shrink you clothes if you get it wrong………. Apply logic here. Run the hot tap to get the hot water down to the sink. Set the machine to the last rinse (cold water only fill, see…..) and fire it up. If the water’s warm, you’ve got them the wrong way round.

    Looking straight on at the back of the machine the ‘hot’ valve should be coloured red inside. The cold valve has no colouring.
