    Hi All,
    Great forum, Penguin45 seams to be the god of this forum. Any help from anybody is apreciated (please before my partner beats me with her boot).

    I have gone through the diagnostic instructions and have come up with code 5.

    Anybody know what code 5 relates to?

    Comms error – the display board is not talking to the motor control board.

    Pulling the plug for a few seconds and trying again may re-set it. If not, check that the display board is not wet in any way. Check continuity of connecting cable between the boards. Check also for poor joints, corroded terminals and the like.

    If that doesn’t do the trick, it’s either one of the boards which will be at fault, but there is no way of knowing which! F+P helpfully suggest substituting until it works…..
