    My smart drive washing machine is coming up with the fault code 43 (00101011). Can someone please let me know what this code means?

    Have you tried the ‘Search’ facility (above) as the error code is well covered there! 😉

    Out-of-balance switch problem. Check:

    1) Bias spring on tub is connected.
    2) Tub suspension rods and springs are all connected.
    3) Switch itself – the rod should be free to move and the switch “click” easily.
    4) Check for corroded connectors, dodgy wiring etc.

    Can be a problem with the computer board, but rather unlikely.
