Went to look at one of these today customer says it is not drying properly and aborting the cycle. For example it was on sensor dry and ended after only ten minutes of tumbling

Checked element and stat all ok, lots of life left in the carbon sensor. Venting fine and fan is ok.

What else should i be looking for on this

    Thanks

    Hi Simon

I have been working on a prob with one of these machines, does your machine heat in both directions?

Does your dryer have a manual time setting to see if the prob is to do with the sensing for dryness.

I am sure youve thought of this but just in case, make sure there is a damp load in the dryer when checking.

No moisture ingress into the heater wiring plug shorting out the heater probe?

Went back today set it on manual and it heats but only sightly. Tried it again on setting one and it did the same.

I replaced the board and duct sensor and left on setting one for 15 minutes and it appears to have done the trick. WAs getting nice and hot,

Going back friday with a new plinth so we find out for definate then.

Bit odd thou as everything belled out fine and the relay did switch on the old broad….
