ParticipantHi All
Posted this in wrong section (Public..cooking forum) so I have pasted it here…Been a long day 😥
I have a Zanussi FM56 which needs MO and TO thermostats, also MO changeover switch. Simple enough I thought… Went onto TDS disc found 2 models FM5611 and FM5612 both don’t look like the one I have.
I called customer for PNC No. The one he gave looks nothing like the two I had to choose from, so I popped along and sure enough they were right it has a type #A9677 and FNR#830621. No PNC
The changeover switches both have the stats attached to the rear with a regulator for the grill being the only other switch.
Anybody out there no the part numbers
Thanks

Hi
If you go to Connections and type in FM56 under search it finds what you need

Thanks for the reply washman.. I did try that first, but neither parts look the same. Thats when I tried a PNE the reply I got was to get product code.
If all else fails I will have to try the parts shown on connection ( I alredy have the switch).

Top oven stat 50026500004
M/Oven 50026504006, obsolete. All is not lost, we use either 50170474006 or 50220190002 Both will fit. Strangely the long capillary B/Oven stat 50026500004, will fit both, just means coiling some of the excess up.
FM56, early 80’s, I knew these numbers off by heart, they are right though as I did look them up to confirm.

Thanks Alex
funny how when youve done a few the part numbers stick in your mind, I can rattle a good few old Hoover part numbers, well at least the old 6 digit ones.BTW do you know the MO selector switch number for this oven?
Cheers

Thought you had the number for the switch?
Was 50025920005, changed to 50170087006 now 3570524011.
If you are stuck, according to my computer we have one.

I have some distant memory of many changed parts according to serial number on these…or was the the FM55?
great ovens, sold shed loads. Back in those days it was really dificult for diy’ers to buy built in appliances. We filled the shop and sold em easily, FM5 or 6 was the single oven version so many parts are the same for the main oven.February 16, 2007 at 12:51 pm #204453scots

Hi Mark
There must have been more than 2 versions as the two shown on the TDS disc don’t match the one I have.
Also there is no PNC number on my one, only a type number and FNR number. And I thought Hoover were bad!! :rolls:

Only ever been 1 FM56. No pnc numbers existed in those days, life was simpler.
50170087006 not in stock at Connect, but I do have one. 3570524011 not recognised at Connect.
P.M. sent Alex
