hi guys i was asked to fix a dishwasher indeset model dv61/1 the problum is it was not opening and the owner pulled the front nearly off it needs a new door lach plus front but does the front only come with all built in as the are pricey could any of you tell me a good glue to try and stick the door where it pulled away from the screws thanks fasetester 🙂

If its built in – we have had a few of these, what we do is as follows, so hope it helps. take the wooden door off and remove the retaining screws near the bottom of the door outer that hold the inner door frame to the outer door. Drill right through from inner side thro outer door. Taking the correct length stainless steel screw refit wood facia door directly to both doors. Depending on which (top or bottom) of facia is damaged you can drill where appropriate.

thanks dales for your reply it is the plastic front which houses the timer and the on off switch which has broke away with all the pulling to get the door open just when were on the subject where is the best place on line to get a selection of screw and nuts like m3 ect so the plastic front cant be bought bare does it come with all built in thanks. fasetester 😕
