    hi ive recently had a E8 error on my fridge freezer ive read through the forums and found a post with a guy with the same problem he changed the evaporator thermistor so ive took off the rear panel and took a look inside looking for a yellow one which ive no idea where it is? or what it is he obtained it from the shop item number 2601683 can anybody help me locate this as i carnt see nothing yellow inside many thanks guys

    The yellow bit actually connects to a connector with dfifrent connectors on front right top side of the bottom freezer.

    so its the only the yellow connecter end that you connect ? ok when i open the back up i can see a fan to my left like a black casing that you can open to the right of the fan which has connectors to it the middle has like a grey connector also running to this black casing sorry if im making no sense just trying to make sure im along the right path thanks for your help

    well, if uve got the thermistor in your hand, u must know what it looks like?

    so, isnt it as easy as locating the thermistor on the evaporator, and, erm.. following the wires back?

    you really should be able to see it, inless theres so much ice its not visible

    and i really hope uve unpluged it…………

    lol its easy when you no how
    ive seen picture of thermistor what i need to get
    ive opened the back but dunno where the evaporator is thers no ice and its unplugged safety first lol golden rule
    so basicly the thermistor fits on the evaporator so i take old one off and replace it so wheres the evaporator lol sorry for my thickness

    so can anyboby help me locate this? is it near the fan? there must be a expert out there who can help me do a fitting guide
