I have a problem with my hotpoint dryer. It is showing error codes. It started off showing code F-10, now it continually shows code F-8 after spinning normally for a couple of minutes. I suspect it isn’t producing any heat. I have checked and cleaned the filters etc. Can anyone shed any light please? Any help would be much appreciated. My machine is about 16 months old.

Both codes point to heater problems, the heater and thermostats need testing with the correct electrical equipment, F08 can also signify a control module fault preventing the heater from working as well.
Be sure to remove the plug before you have a look, if you don’t have the means to test, then try the link below to see if we have someone who can help.
