My washing machine wants to bounce across the kitchen on spin cycle. Even without any cloths in at 1500 rpm it’s a bit viby. But put something in and it vibrates like mad no matter what speed setting.

This has only just started after about 7 years of use. It seems like a mounting has broken but I have’nt checked the back yet to see as it’s a pain to keep pulling out from the wall. Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Regards
    Brian

I don’t know if you’ve fixed this by now, I have the same problem. Taking the back off I see that the two drum stabilisers are worn out, ie when you take them off they slide free. The two internal felt rings that sit inside the plastic tops have disintegrated and are lying in the base.
£33.06 + VAT each is the best price I have received so far. Its a shame we can’t replace the felt rings! I wonder if some other make (cheaper) would fit…

    is the door seal kinked?

a more common problemwas the front weight slipping round and hitting the door hinge… ive seen plenty of these babies bounce around rooms , ive never changed one suspension leg, although im sure it happens

The stabilisers are part number 55X7920 and I’ve ordered them from this site at a much more reasonable price of £16.35 each inc VAT. They have a 3-4 week delay on delivery (special order), so I’ve temporarily patched up the old ones using a ring of draft excluder (furry type). The machine works ok now – hopefully will last until I get the new ones.
Interesting you mention the front seal, as it also started leaking there, which I discovered was due to the glass window having been rotated slightly and this jammed it off centre (it should be floating free). A quick twist back cured that.
It then stopped spinning, which I discovered was due to one of the wires having come off a sensor at the back, again due to the bouncing around.
